Position Summary

We’re looking for a hands-on, highly organized Office & Marine Operations Manager to lead daily operations both onshore and afloat. This dynamic role blends logistics, crew support, concierge and guest communication, and social media coordination. This position works closely with the onboard crew to ensure seamless tour operations, vessel provisioning, safety, and guest experience. You’ll be the connector between land and sea, supporting everything from fueling schedules and office supplies to working side-by-side with captains and guides.


Key Responsibilities

Office & Administrative Management

  • Keep the office areas organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies

  • Manage guest communications, basic customer service, and tour inquiries

  • Maintain accurate booking, inventory, and equipment logs

  • Track and report staff hours to payroll on a regular schedule

  • Pay bills and manage vendor ordering and invoicing
  • Prepare and file monthly/annual reports (e.g., state excise tax report, slip fee, permits, and other compliance documents)
  • Support onboarding of new team members and manage general crew communications

  • Assist with or coordinate volunteers to process photos and data from tours for research collaborations and wildlife documentation

Marine & Vehicle Operations

  • Work closely with the boat crew to coordinate daily logistics and readiness

  • Schedule and confirm fueling for vessels

  • Provision boats daily with meals, snacks, drinks, and guest/crew essentials

  • Perform or schedule regular and emergency maintenance for boats and vehicle

  • Monitor boat security and readiness, including mooring, bilge, batteries, and electronics

  • Maintain safety gear, cleanliness, and compliance documentation

  • Serve as crew or captain (if licensed) when needed

Concierge & Partner Outreach

  • Build and maintain relationships with local concierges, hotels, and vendors

  • Deliver tour materials, check in regularly, and promote current offerings

  • Represent the company with professionalism and Aloha

Marketing & Social Media

  • Manage day-to-day social media posting and engagement (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

  • Capture and edit tour content to showcase company values and guest experiences

  • Collaborate with owner/marketing lead on campaigns and digital presence

  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and guest feedback


Qualifications (will need a few)

  • 2+ years experience in operations, hospitality, or marine-related business

  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Familiarity with basic maintenance scheduling and fueling logistics

  • Physically capable of lifting provisions and working onboard vessels

  • Comfortable on boats; able to train for and captain or crew as needed

  • Proficient with social media tools and basic content creation

  • Trustworthy and discreet when handling payroll and staff time records


Preferred Skills

  • USCG Captain’s License or certified crew experience

  • Snorkel Guide Certification, Divemaster, or Freediving Instructor certification

  • Knowledge of Hawaiian marine life and eco-tourism ethics

  • Experience with booking platforms (FareHarbor, Peek, etc.)

  • First Aid/CPR certification

  • Photography or graphic design experience (Canva, Lightroom, etc.)

Pay Range: $28–$34/hour DOE (Depending on Experience & Certifications)
